MacBook Air A1369 13-inch Mid 2011 Description
MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2011) - A1369
- 2nd hand, bought in February 2012.
Technical Specifications: 4GB RAM, 128GB, Core i5 1.7GHz.
Production Year: 2012 (5th week/February)
This is my first Mac. Bought the machine around late February from Power Mac Center. Used the MBA for home and college purposes. (wanted a really light, reliable laptop that I can bring with me anywhere) There's a slight scratch that isn't exactly noticeable in the screen, but I am sure that the scratch was there before I even bought the machine (since there hasn't been an occasion where it might have been possible to scratch it, and made sure to clean the LCD properly too), it was just too late when I found out so I couldn't complain about it. I learned to live with it since it's hardly noticeable unless I chose to stare directly at the blank, off screen. There's also dust below the keyboard which can be cleaned. I don't have the necessary tools to clean it under.

There's "aluminium rust" around the corner of the keys which can be seen in the pictures attached.
But it doesn't impact performance, so I guess it's kind of like wear and tear from usage. There's also a lot of dirt under the keyboard which is possible to clean, but I don't have the right tools to do it so all I've done is clean the whole aluminium body and screen with Keep It Clean. (non alcohol cleaning solution similar to iKlear) You can also notice a collection of dirt in the fan area but it didn't have an impact with the performance. The MBA has never been dropped and there's no dent anywhere. The only possible 'turn off' feature that I can see here would be the dirt under the keyboard and the fan, along with the aluminium rust that you saw in the picture.
Software wise I see no issues. If you must you can freely download Mavericks as it's a Mid 2011 model so you can very much install it.
The buyer is asked to check the machine thoroughly since I do not provide warranties due to past experiences. You must be 100% sure that you want to buy it since there's going to be no refund.
